Description

MIS Bayonet Curette

Down a tube, a straight curette puts your hand directly in your own sightline. The bayonet offset moves it clear so you can see the cup while it is cutting, which is the whole point of the pattern.

Three cup sizes cover the work: 1.8mm for a tight corridor or a cervical case, 3.6mm as the general-purpose choice, 5.2mm when you are clearing a disc space and want volume per pass. Each comes straight, up-angled and down-angled, so you can present the cup to the endplate at a sensible angle instead of levering the shaft against the tube wall.

The cups are hand sharpened, which matters more than it sounds. A dull curette skates across cancellous bone and you compensate with force; a sharp one bites on the first pass.

Our proprietary ceramic coating releases bioburden more easily during reprocessing and cuts the glare that a polished shaft throws back at you under a microscope.
