Nerve root retractors for minimally invasive and open spine work, in a 90° version and a slightly angled version so you can position the blade the way you prefer.
MIS Nerve Root Retractor
Description
MIS Nerve Root Retractor
Holding a nerve root out of the way is a job that rewards the right blade angle and punishes the wrong one. Two versions cover most preferences: a 90° blade for lifting the root cleanly off the disc, and a slightly angled blade for surgeons who would rather approach it on a slope.
Either way the instrument is built to hold position without you having to keep loading it, so the hand holding the retractor is not the hand that tires first.
The proprietary ceramic coating does real work here. Under a brightly lit tubular retractor, a polished blade is a mirror pointed at your own eyes; a matte ceramic one is not. It also releases bioburden more readily during reprocessing.
Works equally well in open procedures where the corridor is deep and the light is bright.
