Sterilization Container Silicone Mat
Instruments that slide around inside a container arrive damaged, and the damage is always to the part that matters: the tip.
This mat is textured rather than smooth, so friction does the work of holding instruments where you set them without any straps or clips. It cushions tips and edges against the base of the container and absorbs the knocks of handling and transport.
It is also perforated and sized to the container, which means steam still reaches every surface. A mat that blocks circulation is a mat that fails your sterilization check.
Cut to 530 x 277mm to fit the Wiggins container line, and made for repeated steam cycles.
The same mat is also sold as a silicone instrument mat or finger mat, and it works just as well in an instrument tray as in a container. To keep it in place through the automatic washer, add the silicone mat retainer.
