Decker Micro Pituitary Rongeur
The Decker is the small one. Where a standard pituitary is too bulky to fit, the Decker’s slim profile and 1mm to 2mm cup jaws get into the space and take a clean bite of disc or cartilage without prying the corridor open first.
Four lengths cover very different jobs, from the 6″ for shallow cervical and hand work to the 10″ for deeper posterior approaches where you still need a micro tip at the end of a long reach. Straight, up-angled and down-angled versions let you present the cup to tissue at a sensible angle instead of twisting your wrist to make the instrument work, and the 7″ also comes with teeth for a firmer hold.
The shaft carries our black non-glare coating. Under a microscope, a polished steel shaft throws light straight back at you; a matte black one does not, and after four hours that difference is not cosmetic.
Made to be reprocessed and serviced rather than replaced.
