A curved-shaft pituitary rongeur for reaching into the foramen and other angled corridors where a straight shaft cannot follow. 7″ length, with 1mm, 2mm and 3mm cup jaws.
Curved Foraminotomy Pituitary Rongeur
Description
Curved Foraminotomy Pituitary Rongeur
Some corridors do not run in a straight line. The curve on this shaft carries the cup jaws around the corner and into the foramen, so you can take disc and soft tissue from an angle a straight pituitary simply cannot reach.
The jaws are cup-shaped, not punch-shaped: this is a grasping and removing instrument, not a bone punch. Three cup widths (1mm, 2mm and 3mm) let you match the bite to the space you have rather than the other way round.
The 7″ working length suits cervical and standard posterior lumbar approaches. The shaft carries our black non-glare finish, which absorbs microscope and headlight glare instead of throwing it back into your eyes during a long case.
Built to be reprocessed and serviced, and to stay in your set rather than in a repair box.
